The Organization
One of the leading Hospitals in The GCC with a global reputation is now looking for a key individual to Head of HR.
The Role
People Management
- Manage, motivate and manage the performance of the HR team
- Provide coaching and advice to HR team on HR issues, stretch and develop the talent, skills and knowledge of the team in order to develop HR expertise
- Role model appropriate behaviors and challenge where and when appropriate
Delivering Culture and Organizational change
- Provide expertise and support in business consultation/restructuring exercises
- Support and implement culture change, customer service and other business transformation initiatives, within business units
- Seize opportunities to drive lean, cost effective structures and practices
- Act as trusted advisor to business unit leaders on HR issues
- Work with senior management to position our client on right track through HR interventions and solutions
Reward and Recognition
- Monitor, refine, and evaluate existing reward and recognition approaches to ensure that they are competitive and enable retention
- Ensure a consistent and fair implementation of the reward and recognition strategy
Talent Management
- Work closely with business unit managers and leaders to identify the people requirements arising from business unit strategies
- Feed in requirements to HR planning and strategy generation activities in Talent, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits and Transformation, to ensure HR strategies remain aligned to business needs
The Person
You will need to be an Expat/Saudi National with significant HR experience and a strong western educational background and work experience. This is a strategic role and you will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to build an HR function that not only supports the Group but leads it. Only candidates that have significant experience working with global Healthcare businesses and organization will be considered by my client.
- At least 20 years of experience in HR within reputable organizations, with at least 5 years in the Healthcare/hospitals environment.
- Extensive operational experiences as well as the strategic experience.
- MBA in HR from a recognized university
- You must be energetic, enthusiastic, forward thinking and continuously self-motivated
